Preston Photography was born out of Pete Belknap's passion for capturing the true expressions of emotion in the faces of his subjects and the beauty of nature that surrounds our lives.  The camera lens offers a unique opportunity to mix light and expression into a moment in time not otherwise imaginable in real life.

Pete's love for the view finder started in his teens in Southern California.  The expansive beaches inspired photo after photo and he was known to always have a camera in his hands ready to capture that special image. 

His love of the lens continued in his adult life with various personal projects that centered around his two lovely daughters.  Their experiences growing up came to life through the camera and through numerous artistic slide presentations that once again demonstrated Pete's passion for emotion. 
 

Emotions come alive in the weddings Pete has shot as well as Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and children and family portraits.  Additionally, he has shot for various publications and a variety of corporate events throughout the United States.   He now

spends 100% of his time photographing Mother Nature and the wine country.

Pete is also a member of the Professional Photographers of the Sacramento Valley.
